jsarno 09-26-2007, 01:44 PM My woes:
S. Jackson - No line, could be out an extended period
A. Green - Knee problems again
M. Jones-Drew - 13 TDs last year ... jack squat this year
D. Williams - When will D. Foster go down? This will probably be the year he doesn't :(
Andre Johnson - Injured again
Calvin Johnson - Except Roy Williams, the Lions can't draft a good WR who can stay healthy
My only bright spots are:
Chad Johnson, Chris Chambers, Vikes D, and maybe V. Young.
Oh well. Another year down the drain.
No big shocker on Green though. I do think Foster is just a bananna peel away from the DL!
Andre Johnson has been pretty healthy through his career. He only missed 3 games back in 05, but has been in every game otherwise his entire career.
Roy Williams on the other hand only had one fully healthy season and that was last year.
Did you pick you Leonard to back up Jackson?
SouperMeister 09-26-2007, 02:46 PM I'm feeling the pain too - I have both Steven Jackson and Laurence Maroney, neither of whom has a TD thru 3 games and Jackson is out with a torn groin. I do have T.O. and Plaxico at WR but stud RB's are usually money in the bank - I guess not this year :confused-
I'm in 3 leagues and so far my records are 0-3, 1-2 and 3-0.
On my 3-0 team I took Palmer and Westbrook as my first two picks and they've been money so far.
The thing that sucks with fantasy is there's not much room for error when it comes to your studs. If 1-2 of them are stinking it up or get hurt, you're really screwed.
skinsfan69 10-09-2007, 10:42 PM Brees and Jackson are both doing me in big time this year. F them.
LOL!!!! I have Jackson too. I'm in a 4 player keeper league and I drafted him as a rookie. He is a little pussy. Talking all that 2,000 yard shit and he aint doing a damn thing except nursing his groin. But at least I have Brady picking up the slack for me. Brees is just dog poop.
skinsguy 10-09-2007, 10:57 PM My one yahoo league has me in first place at 3-2. Which you know when I am in first place, then it's a weird and sucky fantasy year.

Yeah, they were my number 1 and 2 picks in my league, as a result I lost the first three games.
But I have scratched and clawed my way back up through FA, and have won 2 straight. This week against a 4-0 team!!
Honestly what has helped me out the most have been my TE's, believe it or not, because while most everyone else is only getting 4-7 points from their TE's Im getting like 10-20!!
Clinton Portis was definitely my best draft pick though, and he hasn't even really started rollin yet.
I actually dumped Brees in favor of Derrick Anderson, how sick is that??
With how bad the Rams' offensive line is right now it probably wouldn't matter if Jackson was healthy.
scowan 10-10-2007, 10:44 AM Just get me though these BYE weeks and I will be OK. Missed Addai last week and I will miss him this week along with Reggie Wayne. Just have to keep trugging along until everyone is back and healthy. 2-3 in my league, but I feel a turnaround. I have Kitna, Addai, McGahee, R. Wayne, S. Moss, Witten, K.Brown, Titans. This week have to start D. Anderson, D. Rhodes, McGahee, S. Moss, V Jackson, Witten, K. Brown, Titans.
I need a one week wonder from Rhodes

I've been trying to figure out how to get Brees off one of my teams. No one will take him. In that league's scoring system, he has scored 1, yes ONE point total for the season! Most weeks he's in the negatives with all his interceptions and lost fumbles. I don't want to just drop him because of his potential, but I may have to. Luckily I also have Campbell and Eli Manning on that team. At the beginning of the year, I was trying to trade Manning away so I wouldn't have 3 QBs, but luckily I didn't get a taker. :benched:
