Ok, it was me with my MR. Microphone which I purchased back in the 80's and a tapped into the sound system. Didn't you hear me say "Hey, Baby, I'll be back to pick you up at 8:00).

The offense likes to be able to hear the QB call audibles etc... if it is so loud they cannot hear him, then they have to go to hand signals... which are easier to miss and can lead to miscommunications on the field.

They have been doing this for years and it is 1000% fact. I notice it everytime I am in the upper deck. In fact I seem to remember the year that Baltimore won, we were chastised for it.

Just for sake of arguement, has anyone thought about the fact that any crowd noise heard from the speakers is in fact the crowd itself? Being an Electronics Engineer and knowing how ambient (background) sound is easily amplified, isn't it possible for the "crowd noise" heard from the speakers to possibly be the background noise picked up from inside a broadcast booth or the field mics? C'mon, with all of the microphones set up all over the stadium, isn't it probable that one or more of them actually pick up the crowd noise? Of course it would be amplified along with any announcements, referee calls, etc. that need to be heard. Unfortunately, without proper filtering, ALL sound recieved by microphones will be amplified. I just can't see the reasoning to purposely transmit "crowd noise" inside a stadium that has always been said to have the noisiest fans in the league! If you don't like the noise, stay on the couch while I stand up and add to the noise! Go Redskins!!
