I blame mark brunell....his crappiness is being spread all over the team by his sideline presence. But seriously....brunell threw ducks...so moss caught all of them...campbell throws a laser...moss needs to adjust to it. Hopefully the drops will decrease as moss and campbell become more comfortable with one another. But did you see the two drops in the game last night????? PATHETIC

Look I see alot of the whining going on and all I want to say is that this was a very good game ....AS A FAN. Look we were pretty bad in the first half you guys we almost perfect and in the second half things turned around. You have some nice young talent and we finally played as a team, relax it's only game 3.:food-smil
Why are we letting a Giants fan create threads on this site that are clearly nothing more than backhanded compliments?? Our offense played lousy against a joke defense. The Giants allowed 80 points in the first two games, largely in the passing game, and we didn't throw for shit in the second half. Disgusting. First and goal from the 1 and we can't score against the 32nd ranked D? Joke. Piss off Giantone.

We lost the game becuase of bad play calling in the second half. Run, Run, Pass. That's it. We did not take the shots down the field that we needed to. To win the game. Should have taken more shots at Moss and Randle EL down the field in the second half. It was vey reminscent of the 05 season when Gibbs would get a lead and try to run the ball to eat up the clock in the second half. Well it's only game 3 so we have plenty of time to get it right going down the stretch.

Just look at our point totals- 16, 20, 17... not good. With games coming up against offenses like Detroit, Green Bay, Arizona, and New England (we're gonna get our asses handed to us in that game) we better realize we've got to open it up and score. Time to use Campbell's arm. Pass protection has been good. Gotta take advantage.
On a side note, does it make anyone else sick that the Cowboys are clearly the best team in the NFC? 34-10 against the Bears in Soldier???? Wow.

Congratulations Giantone, the Giants took advantage of a complacent Redskin team. One day the Redskins will learn to put away an opponent when they have them down. Hopefully it will be this year.
I think that was the problem yesterday, not the 1st and goal at the 1 or 2 yard line. They didn't need to get themselves into that situation to begin with.
The offense looked either inept the 2nd half (which I can't imagine because they looked fine the first) or thought they had this game and didn't get a first down in the 2nd half till the very end of it.
What I can't understand is why do they get away from getting the ball to Cooley, the more touches he gets the better the offense looks.

Hate to say it, but the game may have been lost by the Skins in the second half, but they did nothing to help thier case in the first half either.
It is more accurate to say that the Giants almost lost the game in the first half. Turnovers by New York in the first half almost did them in.
The only thing that NY did different in the second half is protect the ball better.
The whole game, the Redskins had only ONE sustained drive that resulted in a score. The Cooley touchdown. One drive. All of the other Redskins scores came from a short field from Giants turnovers in the first half. Ten points from a short field.
Take away those Giants turnovers and the 'Skins only put up 7 on offense.
The second half only amplified the injuries on the O-line. Yes they looked OK in the first half, but in the 3rd and 4th quarters they were struggling.
Not trolling or trashing here, just stating a fact. I do not blame you guys for being frustrated, you deserve a better product on the field then what is being presented is all.

yeah...good points as I'd said in another post:
The Cowboys are looking tight...and may not really be challenged until New England plays them 3 weeks from now. We have only two choices ,either improve overall or prepare to get swept by Dallas this season.

In the last two seasons I've seen the Skins lose 3 14 point leads at FedEx. Last year I witnessed the disgrace that was letting Vince Young win his first NFL game, and the Falcons debacle. This Giants game was the icing on the proverbial shitcake. What a joke. I'm a diehard skins fan, but when we blow a 14 point halftime lead to the G-MEN at our house, it just shows me that were still an average-to-good team at best. The f'n cowgirls are the best team in the NFC and the Pats are the best team in the NFL. That, in and of itself, makes me want to puke!!
