Here's an article from last week on Lloyd.

washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/16/AR2007091601660.html?sub=AR)

I got a chuckle or two out of it. Especially reading quotes like these...

"My day will come where I'll have that kind of game," Lloyd said of Randle El's performance last week. "And I'll be the hot guy and, boom, they'll keep feeding me, keep feeding me."

"I know we're close in age, but I want to mature into that kind of guy," Lloyd said. "When I'm mature, I want to be secure and confident like him. As a person. He's one of those guys, you look at, like, 'I want to try to be like him.' Suddenly, Lloyd bursts out laughing. "And then I think, 'Yeah, I'll start next year.' "

I know I speak for all of Redskin Nation when I say, I'm glad Brandon is having such a good time after that loss. Good to know he understands his role and how he can help the team.

What did he say? I must have missed it

Just referring to how he wants to be mature and a leader like ARE, and then chuckles and says, "nah, I'll start next year".

It's all a big joke to this guy.

Who the hell cares about Lloyd??It's less about us caring for Lloyd and more about us being pissed that Gibbs gave up a 3rd and a 4th for this stiff. It isn't like his bad attitude wasn't common knowledge - I recall reading stuff about Lloyd pissing off teammates and coaches in San Fran. I would have preferred trading those picks and taking a chance on Randy Moss and his drama. Seems to have worked out OK for the Pats, and they only gave up a 4th.

Not sure of the local show but they had a guy on who either is with the 49er's or was with the 49er's when the trade was made. He said after the deal was done they just sat back and laughed as they knew that they just got one over big time on us. He said that they thought it was kind of a joke that they could even think of getting a few picks in the deal but they did and then to top it off we offer him that new big deal.

I really think the entire NFL was shocked at how little the Patriots gave up for Moss. Makes you wonder if there was some collusion going on. I'm sure we would have gladly gave up more.

i hate the investment in him, but i will say this. they never involve him...at all. it has to be something he does wrong in practice or something. i mean really we dont need three recievers anyways because we throw the ball maybe 25-30 times. complete maybe 15-20 so that doesnt leave a lot of balls to catch when you got portis, moss, randle el, cooley, betts, and sellers. still i think he could make a play downfield for us, so long as he doesnt quit on his route ala dolphins game. still hate we gave up so much and this guy has done anything for us, he needs someone to call him out, and if he reacts the wrong way, then he gets cut so he doesnt become a cancer.

it's pretty obvious that the staff doesnt like him...i mean, to be honest, how can we say he sucks ( i hear just about everybody saying this) when we don't even get to see him play.. the team calls ONE pass play to him every couple of games..It does'nt result in a completion and then we dont see him again..if he was'nt in on the 4 receiver sets against the giants, with caldwell and bodiford inactive, then who was? It must have been Cooley split out wide.
