A Case for Rabach

After Thomas went down last night, I thought to myself, now we're really going to see what our back-ups are made of.

Then it dawned upon me, what about the one guy that has been in there day in and day out. No doubt, Casey Rabach is holding it down better than we think. Is it possible that Rabach isn't just another guy or another joe snapping the ball? Think about it, he now has a new left guard and a new right guard playing along side him, yet the line is still plugging along. Not to mention the tackle positions have been in flux all year.

Yeah, I know Chris Samuels is a Pro-Bowler and all, and many feel the line couldn't survive without him. But I think it's possible that Rabach could very well be the real lynch pin for this Skins offensive line.

Rabach is the glue of the line without a doubt.

There was an article in the WPost this preseason about him and how valuable he's been. Buges loves him.

That was one of the nastier aspects of that article lolol. But yeah Rabach has been holding it down ever since we got him in free agency before 2005. The only negative play I can remember of him was in the Chargers game when he drew that penalty that set us back in the final minutes of the game when the score was tied and Springs had just intercepted the ball but the penalty moved us further away from the end zone.

Rabach has been great. But did you have to mention his playing in every game? That could jinx him, and going down the line (Jansen, then Thomas) he would seem to be the next to get injured.

Casey Rabach has been great for us since we acquired him in 2004 from the Ravens, he really is the glue that holds our O-line together.

Great Guy!! He is definately a guy we don't want to lose to injury. He has been great for us and the Oline. He's on Sirius NFL on Tuesdays and always gives a great interview and is very down to earth.

Speaking of Sirius...I wonder what that asshole Adam Schein(sp) has to say about that victory last night and his prediction that the Skins will be the bottom dwellers in the division? I know its early, but that guy is an ass.

Rabach is a free-agent that never gets mentioned by the "We need a GM" crowd. He's been fantastic.

How good was Jamal Lewis up in Baltimore when Rabach was blocking for him?
