36 - 0 is the score I remember when we under estimate the Gmen. The skins stroll into NY riding high from a 52 - 17 stomping of SF and then blow it thinking they can just show up and the win is thiers.

This stage is very similar. It can very easily turn out to be 2006 all over again.

My faith is in JCampbell though. He has this team more grounded than I have ever seen the Skins since Snyders been owner. It seems the players ride on the thought that JC can get it done, but not without their 100% effort to cover for his "rookie" mistakes. Not that he makes many.

Go Snowflake! (Kelly Johnsons comment on JC clothing choice last week after the Miami game)

3-0? yoooooo we are going 6-0!

i get 20 bucks if the skins go 5-0 :D i lose 5 if not.

Seriously though one game at a time (blah blah blah). Lets enjoy this win and start getting concerned about the o-line.

I say the Giants give us a run for our money. First of all, their offense will give us problems. And their running back? Forget his name, but I've seen him two weeks in a row and, shifty cut-back runners give us problems.

If...if their defense can show up for one game, which they are capable of, this could be our toughest game until we play the Pats.

The Giants always play us tough, so we had better dig in.

If we are gonna lose this game, it's because our defense failed, not because our offense couldn't score. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to light it up against the Giants with how porous their defense is. Our defense does kinda scare me, mainly our passing D because we should be able to shut down Dexter Wynn. Burress is 6'5 and has a definite height advantage over our secondary, so we're gonna have to prevent him from going deep and using that jump ball to his advantage.

Burress is going to be hearing footsteps.

I can only hope that the Redskins aren't looking at the Giants like some of you posters. How many times have we gone into a game against an opponent that sucks only to get our ass kicked? Several over the last few years. These are the games that they should fear the most: Teams with their backs against the wall, desperate to prove their detractors wrong. I hope the team approaches this game (and each and every one thereafter) as if it were the freakin' SuperBowl.

I'm glad we're playing them here. The last two years we've gone up there after big wins, layed an egg, and then gone into a month long funk. Every week we play it is a statement game. Every week we have to get better. We need to come out and play even better than we did last night if we hope to sustain our momentum. That is the nature of the NFL.

I agree with you Chip. Don't look beyond the Giants. I want to crush them, slowly, but effectively over the course of the entire game. Minimize our mistakes, dont showboat. And get turnovers if we can. If not, then just don't let them behind us.

We can beat them if we don't underestimate them.

Its just fine if you want to over look the Giants because we ant playing the game this is a chat site. I say 5-0 as we roll over NY, Lions, and GB.

Our first division game at home.
Washington 2-0, New York 0-2.
NY defense is horrible.
Skins clicking on offense.
Washington defense is just downright stingy.
Giants can put points on the board.

My prediction

Redskins 31
VaGiants 20
