Gibbs says Thomas will be operated on tomorrow which means it is a significant tear or whatever the terminology is. They are waiting until tomorrow to make a decision on his status, perhaps holding out hope that he can rturn, but you have to think he will most likely join Jansen on IR. Gibbs had high praise for Fabini and indicated that he would continue to be the starter.

Man, that is the worst news. We are two down and only two weeks in. Time to suck it up and hopefully the depth holds up.

will w and k vincent aren't viable starters. fabini or a trade are the only real options really.

Adam Scheffter just reported that Thomas is out 10-12 weeks.
