ESPN - Oden's rookie season likely lost after knee surgery - NBA (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3017538)
Looks like the Sonics may have been the real winner in this past draft.

Son of Sam....Bowie.
Seriously though, that's terrible for Oden and the Blazers. He sure gets hurt a lot though it seems

Seriously though, that's terrible for Oden and the Blazers. He sure gets hurt a lot though it seemsI know he could come back from this and still have a stellar NBA career, but right now, where does Oden rank on the list of the all time biggest draft busts?
If he has a short lived, injury plagued career does he compete for Grand Champion of All Pro Sports Busts?

Well, let's wait a bit before we make any claims like that.

Oh he could totally come back from this...and still be dominant.
Amare Stoudemire was a beast last year, and they said he was done too.

Well, only Amare came back from that injury and be successful...the list of people that have come back from it and sucked is much longer.
I feel bad for the people of Portland, what a huge horrible blow! It's not like they have anything else up there.
I hope he does come back...seems like a nice young man.

LOL! That's freaking hilarious.
Well it's too early to make proclamations about his career this definitely is bad for the Blazers, who appeared to be headed in the right direction. One of the arguments for drafting Oden over Durant was that he was more NBA ready, even if he potentially had a lower ceiling. Well, so much for that.
