HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
Ok. I'm done. Seriously, they're REALLY not trying to change their reputation, are they?

Monkeydad 09-13-2007, 09:25 AM HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Ok. I'm done. Seriously, they're REALLY not trying to change their reputation, are they? Cowell 09-13-2007, 09:54 AM I think when you sign possibly the most controversial receiver in the NFL, your not going to attempt to change your teams reputation. Either way if they pick up Tank then they can't use him for 8 games. Hope they pick him up I don't think he will be that great for them. dmek25 09-13-2007, 12:10 PM About any DT is qualified as a nose tackle. It would be a good signing for them if he stays out of trouble. If not, good for us. i disagree. they are 2 totally different positions. from gap integrity, to leverage. its almost like saying a defensive tackle and an offensive tackle are the same T.O.Killa 09-13-2007, 03:24 PM I was thinking that big Joe salavea would be picked up by the Cowboys. BleedBurgundy 09-13-2007, 04:39 PM Character issues aside, we do not want Dallas signing T. Johnson. He is a pro bowl caliber defensive tackle and while I don't know how he'd do on the nose, he's a hell of alot better than what they have now. freddyg12 09-13-2007, 04:51 PM i disagree. they are 2 totally different positions. from gap integrity, to leverage. its almost like saying a defensive tackle and an offensive tackle are the same That's way too extreme a comparison, I will agree that there are some differences in the 2 positions, but not as extreme as ot v. dt. Many teams have converted their dt to nose tackle. Maybe Tank will be uncomfortable in the position, and maybe he's not ideal for it, but he's better than what they have now. 4mrusmc 09-13-2007, 06:27 PM Why does that not surprise me. Does Jerry J. have any morals, or high standards for players to represent his team? Riggo44 09-13-2007, 07:09 PM Why does that not surprise me. Does Jerry J. have any morals, or high standards for players to represent his team? Jerry Jones doesn't care who runs around with there uni's on as long as he thinks they can help the team win. The Cowboys are right there with the Raiders as far as signing anyone they think might help them regardless of there past. As far as this signing goes I hope they don’t do it. Tank Johnson is a beast and I don’t want to see him come 12/30. BleedBurgundy 09-13-2007, 07:13 PM If I'm a cowboy's fan, I'm all for this signing. He can't hurt, he'll get way below his previous market value and he is unquestionably talented. I don't get the righteous indignation here. If we needed help at DT (we don't, imo), I'd want him on Redskin One now. |
