Janky do you have a link or something that proves that? I mean this guy is good enough to be on the field. Better than Thrash and Lloyd.

My brother is saying that he is seeing reports (in Boston mind you) that Caldwell will be our #3 and replacing Lloyd. Can anyone verify this is true or not? Do we even know for sure yet? Hog1 09-13-2007, 12:40 PM I read the same thing on one of the articles posted on the WP. Maybe it was the New Jersey paper???? Not sure if it's fact, but I'm gonna' give Lloyd a call, and see what he wants for his house. JWsleep 09-13-2007, 02:00 PM From today's WPost (note the crucial phrase!): Caldwell to Practice Today Wide receiver Reche Caldwell, signed to a one-year veteran minimum contract of $595,000 on Tuesday, will practice with the Redskins for the first time today and hopes to be able to play Monday night. Caldwell was a starter with the Patriots last year but was released before the start of this season. By waiting until this week to sign Caldwell, the Redskins avoided having to guarantee his base salary. He received no signing bonus, according to league sources, but could push to be a part of the top three rotation at wide receiver. Caldwell's signing leaves the Redskins about $2 million under the salary cap, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/12/AR2007091202459.html) Monksdown 09-14-2007, 12:38 PM Janky do you have a link or something that proves that? Throw him the ball, he catches it. skinsfan69 09-14-2007, 12:47 PM I think this move means the end for Brandon Lloyd. He is so done here. That play in the endzone last week sealed his fate. redsk1 09-14-2007, 12:57 PM Everybody hates on James Thrash. Throw him the ball, he catches it. I was going to post this before i read your post. What is so bad about JT as a #3? I'd like to think that he would be a pretty good #3. When he's in the game he ususually makes plays right? I guess the coaches see something else. It's not a bad pickup for that price. Caldwell can play. However i doubt he catches 25 balls this year. 12thMan 09-14-2007, 01:04 PM I was going to post this before i read your post. Monkeydad 09-14-2007, 01:42 PM I saw video of Caldwell practicing on Sportsnite last night and I couldn't stop thinking, "man his eyes are still huge". The Zimmermans 09-14-2007, 02:08 PM I have a feeling that everyone is going to be very disappointed with Reche....I would take brandon lloyd over him any day....he's got twice the talent. And Reche doesn't bring much to the table...he's a loser at heart. We will see i guess....i like the move becuase it gives lloyd a kick in the ass, but to lloyd's credit....we almost never throw to him |
