first i dont want to celebrate the giants getting injured, especially after what happened to the te in buffalo. but secondly on nfl live a while ago i think john clayton was the one who said the skins would hold on to brunell for the season to start because if a qb went down they could get a lot more for him... this is probably the only case i would want to trade inside the division
thoughts??

What can the Giants offer us? I don't think we should trade Brunell to anyone in our division or conference. It's too bad the Giants just lost three starters, but it's not our problem. And we're not here to help them

thoughts??There is zero chance we trade a QB to a division foe simply because his insight into our offense would too great. I doubt we deal Brunell anyways but it certainly won't happen to anyone we end up playing later on.

Yeah I agree week 3 SHOULD be an easy win, Let's just hope we beat the eagles first.
There's no such thing as an easy win in the NFL, let alone in the NFC East. Do you happen to remember 1989? We gave a certain team in the NFC East their only victory that year? It was supposed to be an easy win.

This may sound strange but I'm pissed that Brandon Jacobs will be out...I was looking forward to seeing him and Sean go at it, those two really don't like each other.
Jacobs could also be seen howling at Washington safety Sean Taylor. Jacobs said after the game Taylor warned him, "You'd better protect yourself" the next time they tangled.
"He throws his whole body out there like he's got another one in the closet," Jacobs said. "I don't see myself taking one of those hits. I respect his game. The NFL needs safeties like him, the way he hits, it sets the tone. Me, myself, I'm not going to allow the tone to get set by him hitting me like that." Jacobs also accused the Redskins of spitting at him last year and of twisting ankles and hitting in the groin whenever they get the chance. "Those kind of things," he said. Speaking of players who are out, cornerback Lito Sheppard of the Eagles will miss next week's game:
