I dont get the bashing of the D. The game I saw showed me our D is light years better than last year. They scored 13 whole points. If we hold a team to 13 points we are going to win 14 or 15 out of 16 games.

I thought that tackling was fine. When someone did miss a tackle there was another guy there to bring him down.

If we hold a team to 13 points we are going to win 14 or 15 out of 16 games.Under the assumption that every team we play this year will be better offensively than Miami, I was really hoping that we wouldn't give up 17 first downs. We wouldn't have if the tackling was better, but they also dropped a lot of passes. The numbers look good, and show that we really dominated that game, but I was unimpressed by the defense.

The offense was promising but flawed. O Line did a good job, Campbell played well, Randle El and the backs played great.

Outplaying the Dolphins was something we were supposed to do, but I wanted more out of this team.
