Great guy, there I am lying on the field, writhing in pain. And he says "Listen, we're going to go ahead and cut you" Last game of spring training before the season starts. He didn't even need to cut anyone ^What a dick move. I have a feeling that Samuels injury might have been a blessing in disguise. It sure helped Heyer get some playing time, and get ready to play if need be. He did a very good job stepping up and not missing a beat. Surgery is likely. The injury would appear to end Jansen's season. The team will update Jansen's status on Monday. Nothing is in stone yet...we'll know more tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed. Right there on the spot. So if the team gave up its 4th run of the day. The whole team would have to get down and do 40 pushups, on top of the 30, 20, and 10 they had just done. It was embarrassing. He was gone after that 0-10 season. The next season the only changes were that I played and we had a new coach. And we went 9-1 (this was JV) and lost in the county finals. And I doubt I was the one that made a big difference. Based on the radio reports Wade most likey starts now at RT. Not Heyer. He did a good job in any case though. hooskins 09-09-2007, 11:05 PM Why not keep Heyer in and let the good times roll?
