Looks good to me, not that it looked bad to start with. I wonder who's bright idea that was.

EWW. I don't like it. The old one is SO much better.

Does it really look that different to you guys?
I have no sense of style...:(

• The football at the center has been redesigned to resemble the ball atop the Vince Lombardi championship trophy, says Baird. It replaces the old-fashioned pigskin nicknamed the "Hamburger" inside league offices.

Now all I see is the Hamburger.

The football looks OK. The blue field looks empty, not enough stars now. The blocky letters look horrible. I like the swirly ones better. The new blue is fine, no complaints about the navy. :D

I mean it isn't all that different, and it isn't too bad. So I guess the four stars represent the respective divisions? In the now previous logo, what did the stars represent?

Looks about the same to me--shows why I am not a graphics person!

Summo--interesting avatar--is that really the word you want?

"Furor":
a : furious or hectic activity b : an outburst of public excitement or indignation : UPROAR

"Führer":
(“Leader”), title used by Adolf Hitler to define his role of absolute authority in Germany's Third Reich (1933–45).

I suppose either would work, modulo the whole holocaust thing for the second one.

(Note: I'm Jewish. I have no problem with the second usage. I am also a liberal, left-wing academic who hates PC stuff. FREE SPEECH UBER ALLES!!! ;))

I used to use the term "Graphic Pimp" but "Pimp" is so over used these days that I wanted something different. So I did some research and I looked up the definition and decided that "furious or hectic activity, an outburst of public excitement or indignation: UPROAR" fits what I do, hence Furor. I did not select it to promote any anti-Semitic sentiments at all even though I did anticipate that someone might be offended.

I like furor, it's about time someone took that name back from Hitler.

All we need now is someone to bring back the Hitler mustache and kill the mystique of it. Talk about ruined facial hair.
