I can honestly say that I have absolutely no faith in the Giants this year. Not only that, but I don't even LIKE my team. I think Eli is terrible, Shockey is still a pain in the a$$, Strahan is a lazy piece of $h!t who didn't want to go through training camp. Jacobs will be good, but he is a power runner. I don't think the Giants OLine is equipped to run a power running game. They are setting Coughlin up to fail to go ater Cowher. Oh, and Tiki is quickly turning into a douche.

My prediction is the Giants and Skins will be involved in a painful-to-watch battle for the division cellar. If McNabb stays healthy the Eagles go 11-5 and take the division. If not, the Cowb!tches probably win it at 9-7 maybe 10-6. After typing this I feel I should either go to confession or just hang myself.

I have tickets for four giants games this season (philly on 9/30, vikings on 11/25, skins on 12/16 and pats on 12/29) and I don't even want to go.

I don't know there coggs. I don't think the Giants have ANYTHING to hang their hats on. I think they're a lock for the cellar this year.

At least the Skins defense is going to be money.

That being said, the ghost of Tiki Barber is still going to shred us for three hundred rushing yards in NY this year.

We just CANNOT win IN NY.

I think the skins D will be decent, but nothing special. The Giants D is all on Strahan and Umenyiora. Last season, when both were healthy and they had a great pass rush it made up for a severe lack of talent in the LBs and Secondary. When Strahan went down, that was it, the Giants D was exposed. If strahan stayed in shape and can get back to the level he played at the first 8 games last season, the D will be pretty good. Basically, good enough to win 5 maybe 6 games as the O is going to do very little.

I haven't been into it much lately. Is Strahan coming back or not?

And nothing special is all the Skins need to be on defense to be back to at LEAST 8-8. There were a number of games the offense put up loads of points only to have the defense totally suck nuts.

Springs is back at full health. McIntosh and Fletcher (in case you haven't checked out the preseason) have been absolute studs. Injuries alone were some of the reasons they did so poorly last year.

Also, X-factor is Landry. You can take that one to the bank. He's a freak.

Yeah, he ended his holdout or whatever the hell he is was calling it a few days ago. If it is true that he wasn't sure if he wanted to play, then I wish he'd stay the hell home. I just think he was being lazy. Either way, not a good sign when it is the leader of the defense and probably the best player on the team.

True enough. That'll help. The secondary is still going to get gashed. At least the Giants have some good ends and one good LB.

our defense will carry us until the mid season before our offense fires up to finish the regular season

10 - 6 standing

I think Brandon Jacobs will suck, just look at his initials. jk

I think the Giants have laid claim to the cellar. They still have o-line concerns, Eli still lobs too many passes off his back foot for me, and Strahan and Coughlin are more concerned with self-preservation than winning football games. But Pierce should be good for 120 tackles min.

The Giants will be battling nobody for the cellar this year. It's theirs for the taken. I hope everybody else will think of the Redskins' defense in terms of being nothing special. If that's the case, we'll easily make the playoffs this year.
