Portis is actually from Gainesville, Fl. Graduate of Gainesville High School. He was born in Laurel, Miss, but grew up in Gainesville. Spurrier wouldn't offer him a scholarship so he went to the U. Ooops. I reckon that was a bad decision by the ball coach.

Let's just say we are in the same ball park.... I guess you are as old as you feel..... like I said, I am OOOOLLLLLDDDDD. Of course, I had a bag of ice on my bad knee as I was typing last night (might have something to do with how I feel).

How old are you???? When I was a kid... 30 sounded old.... now, it sounds young. I am sure alot of 55 year old people would have objection...lol
Of course, when I was born, Sammy Baugh was not even in the NFL (OK, a SLIGHT liberty of the truth here).
