No to Gabriel. But we do need a possesion receiver in the worst way. However, no possesion receiver is better than a bad one.

I was listening to ESPN radio on XM while I was on my way to lunch, and they said Chris Chambers is on the trading block. Now THAT would be interesting. They'd probably want a 3rd rounder for him at least though.

Well, we don't have the cap space to waste on him, so unless Miami was willing to cover the majority of his salary, we are out of this race.

Chambers is staying put for the year. We wouldn't want him anyways...mainly I'm talking about Gibbs...he's trying to rack up a criminal record along with football records.

Never said I wanted him, never said we should go get him. Just said it would be interesting.

Gabriel would be way cheaper and serve the same purpose.

It'll be hard to trade him, but they are trying nonetheless...

Guess the Herald is trying to cover all its bases:

HA! That's funny. Chambers is overpaid, but I think they'd be foolish to put all there eggs in Ted Ginn's basket.

Never said you did, just making an argument for the possibility of us getting him, or not.

You might be right, but Chambers has proven himself, and Gabriel hasn't.

Oddly enough, I looked up their hieght and weight, and I didn't know Chambers was only 5'11" 210lbs. If we're going after someone, we need someone with hieght!

I would absolutely bring Gabriel in for a look, it can't hurt. Doug Gabriel is a better option at #4, or #5 WR than anyone we have on the roster currently.
