Can You Catch a Cold From A Dog?

Your dog didn't get you sick. If you don't believe me just call vick, I bet he can help answer all your questions... for a fee? lol

nice. I actually just took my dog to the vet for his yearly shots and asked the vet. She told me that, no, people cannot catch a cold from a dog or any other animal because viruses are species specific. so that's that. It's strange though since I never get sick and that little bastard sneezed right in my face...

I have the twin of your boxer at home! Best dog I have had. And, she has the good taste not sneeze on me.............although she is quite a drooler!

Yeah, this is the first one I've had and I couldn't be happier. Does yours stand on her back feet alot? Meeko does that constantly. And yeah, he drools alot... especially if I'm cooking bacon.

That's a cute dog!

It's like what I said before, he could have sniffed something outside (bacteria / virus) and when he sneezed, it went from inside his nose to in your lungs. So his sneeze could have caused your illness, but it wasn't his disease first.
