If I were Andy Reid I would retire and straighten out my family. He already has money, he needs to take care of his other problems. As a man it is the more honorable thing to do.

God that would be great. I don't wish anything bad on his family, on the contrary, but Reid is now officially the NFL's version of Al Gore.

Yeah in all seriousness, both his kids have serious problems it seems and I don't think anyone would hold it against him if he said that he needed some time off to handle things at home.

He already did once, but it was much easier for him to do it back in February when all he was missing was mini-camp.

thats just messed up,hard enough to have a regular job and deal with family issues like that, but trying to run a pro football team and have that stress is too much. His kids are adults, taking time off might help him,but I doubt if it will help his kids, they need some serious rehab,he cant hold their hands his whole life, sometimes you just have to say my kids are fked up and do the tuff love thing till they get their shit together

You can't coach class. One is born with class. It's unfortunate that Reid's kids aren't as classy as him.

I'm going to disagree a little. These are adults. They need to learn that the universe doesn't stop because they got in a jam. It might be better for him to carry on and let these two deal with their problems like men.

I somewhat agree with you, but how much do you attribute their attitude towards their father not being around much because he is a dedicated football coach? I believe that is a major part of the problem.

I agree. It's not like we're dealing with 15 year olds here. These guys are 22 and 24 and they both apparently still live with mommy and daddy. I say tough love should be the route.
