I think we actually might see some surprising cuts if the front office is truly committed to getting Cooley resigned before or during the season.
If you had to throw out any one name, who would it be?

I think Salave'a might be cut before the 53 man roster is complete. I haven't seen nor heard anything about him during training camp or preseason. I haven't even seen him play during the preseason, plus he's not injured or anything.

He played Saturday night. He didn't look bad at all, actually.

Why would anyone want Blaylock in place of Rock? Rock is a proven solid special teamer and a proven good back up for Betts and Portis. He also knows the offense and brings cohesion to the locker room.
Blaylock is new to the team and hasnt done anything so far in the preseason.
If its not broke dont fix, right?

I personally don't see Blaylock making the team over Rock.

Redskins.com referred to Blaylock as "a long-shot to make the team." If the team website is saying as much, Blaylock's future in D.C. certainly doesn't look good. Sorry for not posting a link.

He's my boy and he's been playing well, but sadly I see Wynn AND Big Joe going. Sure that places a LOT of faith in our young tackles, but I can see it if they really want the Cooley deal done.

Wow! Now that's a bit of a stunner. You see both of them of them going. That would be interesting.

Deep down I don't think there's any chance that BOTH of them go, I just think we'll have at least one more surprising cut.

I thought initially that Blaylock would be a lock (no pun intended), but now I think Mason has to be given a serious look. He can play teams & maybe return kicks, could take Rock's job, but I hope we could keep both.
