Geez, 30 to 3?
A mercy rule would've seriously helped out O's in this one.
I bet those guys probably just stopped trying by time it was like 14-3.

It's an aberration. We've been playing great ball under Trembley. Granted, I wish his first game since the announcement of his extension thru '08 had been a little better....
30-3 is a massacre. Hopefully that's not a foreshadow of what a Cowboys-Skins game will look like...

i didn't even click on this thread because i thought that it was like 15-1 or something. I also don't care for baseball. But then i saw somewhere else that they scored 30. That is ridiculous. First time its happened in 110 years.

That is a little record and piece of history not to be proud of. I would hate to be one of those players as a grandfather with grandson perched upon his lap.
Grandfather: Yep, I played professional baseball for the Baltimore Orioles back in 2007. We have the record for the highest scoring one sided asswhoopin in the modern era of MLB history. Of coarse we were on the losing side, but we are in the record books none the less.
Grandson: And you are proud of that? Now tell me that either myself or my father is adopted.
On a side note the Orioles will be giving away complimentary paper bags to fans for the remainder of home games.

I thought it was a little kooky that Littleon got the save.

What's really crappy is that the game was in Baltimore and, even worse, it was the first game of a double header!
They lost the second game 9-7.

I heard a couple of comparisons to other sports on Mike & Mike this morning. Based on average runs scored in a baseball game(4.7), it was something like a 530% increase. To equate it to football; a team would have to score about 150 points, and a basketball team would have to score over 600 points... friggin ridiculous.
