I really wonder if there is such a thing as a non-party school?

Seriously, even the smallest colleges I ever road-tripped had great parties.

I am pretty sure any school you go today will be pretty heavy party, down here in south carolina theres always a party going on

Then you turned 21 and pretty much lived in the local bars during their specials night (best was Tuesdays, $1 import bottles).

Jeezus H. My reason for not coming to class on Wednesdays would be alcohol poisoning.

That is an INSANE price.

I wouldn't say Salisbury is a huge party school...however, legend has it that back in the mid to late 80s, the President of the University used to tap the first keg on Friday afternoons in the Quad...and the school had a huge party reputation then. Which all changed with the next President...

As AMD can attest to, Salisbury has its moments. While it's near the beach, that beach is downright cold from mid October til mid April. There isn't much else to do in the 'bury...so we made due. One of our fraternity brothers lived on a farm about 30 minutes south of campus, so we used to throw parties out there. When we weren't out there, we had house parties, and sometimes dorm room parties, although we were a bit more cautious with these. Then you turned 21 and pretty much lived in the local bars during their specials night (best was Tuesdays, $1 import bottles).
And don't forget about the quasi-riots back in either '01 or '02. Those got pretty interesting.

My last semester, I lived at that bar on Tuesday nights...no classes the next day. And the best part was I could see the bar from my dorm room, so I'd wait til the line got short, walked over and was in with little to no wait, while other would wait upwards of an hour in the cold wind to get in.

AMD - those riots were probably after my time...

Well, Matty. Mason is okay if you're 21 and can hit up the bars. Other than that, no house parties to speak of. We don't even have frat or sorority houses (can't have more than 4 girls living in the same house that aren't related. Good ol' brothel laws!) to go to. There are a lot of people around here that know people from Mason, and if you do party it's going to a close friends house and normally small.

I can't believe Wisconsin isn't on the list. Most ranking always have them number 1.

Hooskins, one of my goals this year is to go down to JMU and party. I hear they have a lot of fun. Also obviously everyone talks about their women too.

Notice how maryland has the top SAT score by a pretty large margin of all 50 that are listed and still is ranked top 15. That is because we are multi talented. I mean it lists that many places don't have bars open till 3 either. Shit is happening at maryland until 5 or 6 AM. I can go out and find drunk people falling around at 5AM. Lots of fun to do when you are really drunk.

that link... penn state at a 41% drug interest. LSU 47% Mississippi at 57%? Is that even possible? Maryland is at 15% even Colorado at boulder is only 26%.

I would have to say favorite schools to party at when I was younger were #1 SDSU (Mission Beach was a blast. Not to mention Mexico) #2 Cal Poly SLO (I had lots of friends there from HS) #3 UCSB (great for a drunk weekend with lots of hot girls). #4 UCSC (my cousin was there big parties and great concerts.) #5 HSU (the chronic and camping). Also I would have to say UC Berkley deserves an honorable mention as well as ASU.
