What were you thinking when Jason went down?dall-assblows 08-19-2007, 12:12 PM i literally said "oh fuck" cause i saw it in real time. right as he threw it he went down an cooley caught that ball. i was praying he didnt get hit in the knee. Skins4lifeDVM 08-19-2007, 12:12 PM I lost my shit. And I am completely pissed off at that dirty shot. There has to be a $fine$ on the way!!! GridIron26 08-19-2007, 12:39 PM I dropped my football ball (the one I always hold with me thr the Skins games) and, I immediately thought our season is gone down in drain.. THEN I thought, "oh fuck, I promised my best friend (who is HUGE fan of Bears) that Skins will make it into playoffs.. 12thMan 08-19-2007, 12:43 PM When he first went down, I was actually pretty calm...but then my mind kicked in and I was like, there goes the damn season and went into a fit. SkinsLove24/7 08-19-2007, 01:01 PM I was at the game and I was pumped because it was a sweet play to Cooley down the middle on a perfectly throw ball. I look back and realize Jason is lying on the ground and I just froze. I was really worried he was done. After seeing him walk off the field and then back out of the locker room later with his pads still on and his knee wrapped, I had a feeling if it was serious he would be off for more treatment if they were worried it was worse. Warpath 08-19-2007, 01:25 PM I thought he was seriously injured when he was laying there rolling around holding his knee. When I saw the reply it looks alot like the same hit Doug Williams took in the superbowl. DW came back in the game and had an amazing game so I hope JC comes back and has an amazing season. BleedBurgundy 08-19-2007, 01:28 PM I thought we were pretty much fucked. My cowboy fan neighbor was even feeling bad for us. GridIron26 08-19-2007, 01:42 PM I thought we were pretty much fucked. My cowboy fan neighbor was even feeling bad for us. Lol he must be really soft cowboys fan.. I never have met a cowboys fan who felt bad for us.. EARTHQUAKE2689 08-19-2007, 01:56 PM I thought he had a torn GPA. But I freaked out seriously. JWsleep 08-19-2007, 02:14 PM Wasn't watching, thank goodness, so by the time I heard about it, it was diagnosed a bruise. Here's the latest from JLac/Cindy: Posted at 11:38 AM ET, 08/19/2007 Campbell Update/Sunday Morning Jasno is off today, but he's still working the phones and spoke to a person with knowledge of Jason Campbell's status this morning...Here's what we know: Campbell had said last night that he expected the knee to be stiff and sore this morning. The good news is that neither is as bad as they were tanticipating. There is little swelling and he's getting around much like he did last night, when you saw him walking into and out of the press room and climbing those two or three steps to the dais. The feeling today is that they were incredibly lucky with this injury. They really dodged a bullet. I'm heading in to work. Need to get me some coffee. I'll check back in later.
