A separate thread is needed for MW. Anyone here had a dislocated elbow, and lived to tell about it? Can it be popped back in?
Can he play with that kind of pain?
JC's injury looked bad, with a defender falling into the side of his knee. Then, after several minutes down, holding it, writhing in pain, and taking his helmet off, JC got up, and walked off!! Major props to take the punishment and still get up!
Well, they were asking Ray Brown about it during the post game, and he said it's the type of injury he'll play with. The x-rays were negative from what I heard. No bone chips or fractures, so he'll rehab and hopefully be ready for Miami.

Yeah, Portis and Tomlinson have apparently taken the preseason off.
Though Portis is actually nicked up -- somehow I've been able to my faith in the fact that he'll be able to step right in and not miss a beat for the Dolphins.

I bet Portis kicks all kinds of ass against the Dolphins.

I think CP will work back in. Conditioning and keeping him healthy need to be a concern. RBs should be able to pop right in though without much chemistry being involved.

I don't think we should take too much stock in those two presason games as far as the running game and our O-line is concerned. We have been primarily playing Blaylock and Mason at running back. These are our 3rd and 4th option on the depth chart. Our 0-line is starting two guys who need more time playing in the NFL, and would probably be back-ups on another team. That being said, that is still no excuse to get our franchise qb killed! Our wide receiver depth looks God aweful, these guys can't even run down field without tripping over themselves. Measage to AL S.: Your offense needs to catch up to the defense. I thought you were some kind of genius or something.

The starting offense looked good last night. They drove the ball down pittsburghs throat, I mean heck Todd Collins threw a TD pass to Brandon Lloyd. Our starting offense looked decent, need some improved line play, picking up blitzes and run blocking. The players you saw stumbling and not catching were guys who are going to be cut. The starters played well against a tough defense year after year.

Agreed. I'm not too worried about depth at wideout. You have to figure our top three are good, then you throw Cooley in the mix...a bit of Yoder and Sellers in the red zone; we'll be fine.

Look at the first quarter when most of the starters played we had 2 11 play drives, one leading to a touchdown, for a total of 101 yards. we ended the half with 113 total yards. Most of our yards came in that first half against the pittsburgh starters. The offense did improve from last week and make big strides, now lets look for consistancy. However maybe our depth on offense is not as deep as people thought since we only gained 226 total yards on offense 113 in the first half and 49 on that last drive.

You know I hate to say it but make Collins #2. and make Brunell and Palmer duke it out.lol.
I agree, but the only negative about Collins is that he is not mobile at all. I remember on 3rd down he tried to run, and I was thinking if that was Brunell running, it would have been a first.
