They're saying a couple of weeks for Marcus Washington...that's unofficial though.

Everyone seems to think Campbell's injury is not serious -- just a bruise -- but they haven't done an MRI yet, right? The way he went down with his knee in going in a direction it's not supposed to go, I thought our season was over before it started.

If comes out of this with no serious injury, then Campbell is truly He-Man.

Let's see Todd Collins get some more time with the starters.

Gibbs said Espy is done for the year. Ruptured achilles, maybe. But he's done.

This really sucks for him. He didnt look like he did last preseason thus far, but I was really pulling for him. Apperently he was one of the hardest workers on the team (From Ray Brown, not Gibbs).

I hope he'll be able to make it back next year.

MW is the one the watch but ultimately I am pretty comfortable with our depth at LB. MW is a playmeker but we're not playing a scrub if he is out.

I am concerned about the JC injury in that it will take prep time away from him. I highly doubt it is of any seriousness from an actual physical standpoint.

The Mason kid actually looks like he could play RB in this league. He isn't a stud but he seems to have good vision and he is always going forward. Plus he can catch the ball. The kind of player Denver could proably get 1000 yards out of I bet.

Our special teams made very happy. Lots of great efforts. Of course most were by guys who know they have to make the team on STs.

It looked bad and I still think it was a cheap shot, but I don't believe there is any reason to call for the sky to drop.

Mason looks OK, but Cartwright isn't going anywhere. There won't be any room for a fourth tailback -- just ask TJ Duckett.

Then there's Blaylock (#48) who can return kicks too. We're absolutely stocked at running back. It's practice squad time for Mason, I'm sure.

A separate thread is needed for MW. Anyone here had a dislocated elbow, and lived to tell about it? Can it be popped back in?

Can he play with that kind of pain?

JC's injury looked bad, with a defender falling into the side of his knee. Then, after several minutes down, holding it, writhing in pain, and taking his helmet off, JC got up, and walked off!! Major props to take the punishment and still get up!

They will need to address it surgically at some point, but he can probably play the season without too much pain (until it happens again). The connective tissue gets stretched.

I think it's good we have that much depth! I think it's also good that Portis isn't going to see the field until possibly the Miami game. The only thing I am concerned with is his conditioning.

Absolutely agree.
