I can do nothing but throw picks... Keep in mind that I was at one time consistantly in the top 100 ranked when I had time to play online back in 2003 in espn nfl 2k3.... so Im not a complete madden idiot, but I'm starting to feel like one...

Also fumbles are incessant... I've asked a couple of guys who ive played and they agree... its too f'in hard to pass the ball without getting it picked off...

My recievers NEVER get in fucking position to get a ball and Santana Moss can't burn toast... even with his little icon...

It goes both ways, mind you... I've picked off alot of balls as well, but is it set up so that you pretty much HAVE to use the QB vision or some crap?

I'm getting frustrated...

yeah, i used to be the shit at madden. Now i suck. On madden 2005 i was ranked in the top 300, something like 255 out of 120,000 people. Now i f...ing suck. I started doing well opening 5-1 but lost 3 in a row. Now i'm 7-4.

I haven't had much of a problem with throwing picks though. But i was talking to someone about it and they said all they did was throw picks. I picked him off 6 times that game. I usually can't find anyone open and throw it away or check down to a no gain pass. It sucks. I need to get in sync.

After losing 3 games in a row i switched to the saints playbook. I hate doing it but i won both the games i played on it. People seem to be more open and i feel there are a ton more pass plays which compliment the skins offensive weapons.

One big thing i have against madden is that play action works so well. Everyone converges on the runner. It won't work if you do it every 4 plays but if you use it well play action makes it a lot easier to get receivers open. It works too well. I hate it when i'm on D and someone does it and i know that it is a fake but everyone jumps on the runner, especially when i blitz and send 6 people and they all go there.

I got it yesterday, and there was 11 interceptions thrown in the first game I played against my boy. I was like wow! But, then again I thow a lot of bombs to Santana, so i guess in real life there would be a lot more picks. That and the running game is pretty tough. I've gotten over 500 yards in one game in 07, but my first season game I think I had like 47 yds, with a fumble. But, overall this is the best Madden I've ever played.

I've only thrown 1 pick in 2 games so far, but I have noticed more fumbles.

I kinda like it though, it seemed like in previous Maddens there were virtually no fumbles at all.

I'm with you on this one... I've been paying close attention to leading my receiver and throwing the right type of pass (loft, bullet, etc...) also, you know, paying attention to the coverage and I haven't thrown a pick yet. (I've only played 2 games, once against a human opponent and once on all-madden) I'm sure that will change. Also, there are more fumbles, but there's also a hell of a lot more insane hits than in real life. If the collisions that happen in Madden happened on the field with any sort of regularity you'd be seeing a ton of fumbles.

woops, wrote this in the wrong thread. I don't know how that happened.

EDIT.

I'm pretty conservative when it comes to passing as it is, and I don't force stuff usually. I do think with this year's Madden reading a D is finally a very important skill to have. You'll pay if you force throws.

I've gotten like 2 turnovers trying to bomb stuff to santana though. That just means i'm not going to try it that much anymore. Santana isn't just going to run by everyone because of his 98 speed anymore.

I always stink when I get a new version. Last time I bought a Madden game (2005...ha), I could not run the ball AT ALL...after a while, I got good at it.

I have current rosters on my 2005 now, so I have no reason to buy the new one. :)
