Chief, not all of our WR's will light up your Fantasy League team. JWsleep 08-13-2007, 11:20 PM Maybe this is to light a fire under ARE and Lloyd? I mean, how bad will they feel if they can't beat out Pinkston???? Ugh. dall-assblows 08-13-2007, 11:25 PM they just wanted to upgrade over that guy BROWN. its not that big a deal. probably wont even make the team CHIEF CHUCKING MY SPEAR 08-14-2007, 12:07 AM moss and cooley are good but ARE is ok but LLoyd stinks. Pinkston is horrible and thrash works hard but a number 3 at best. hesscl34 08-14-2007, 12:40 AM It seems like every time someone gets a slight "hurt" we hire someone. Isn't Randell El hurt a little now after the game? .. Skins are so concerned with backing up.. maybe that is all it is??? Who knows. I think this needs to be looked at though. It messes up the chemistry on the team... to keep bringing people in when we have so much talent. Not good for the "brain" power for the veterans. jsarno 08-14-2007, 12:49 AM Why Pinkston when we could have had Keyshawn Johnson? RMSkins 08-14-2007, 12:53 AM What ever happened to Antonio Bryant after he left SF last year? Is he on anybody's roster? KLHJ2 08-14-2007, 12:57 AM What ever happened to Antonio Bryant after he left SF last year? Is he on anybody's roster? Nope, he is currently not in the league. His last reported activity was back in May when he worked out for TB. Edit. TAMPA – Troubled WR Antonio Bryant (http://www.fftoday.com/stats/playerprofile.php?PlayerID=2114), ineligible to play until Week 3 of the 2007 season while serving an NFL suspension, worked out for the Buccaneers today at the team complex. Bryant, 26, caught 40 passes for 733 yards and three touchdowns with the 49ers last season but was released in March, only one season after signing a four-year deal that included $5.25 million in guaranteed money. The rangy 6-foot-2, 188-pound target has served half of a four-game suspension handed down Dec. 22 for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. He recently pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to a year’s probation for driving more than 100 mph Nov. 20 in San Mateo, Calif. Bryant previously played for Dallas and Cleveland and he has 250 receptions for 3,837 yards and 19 touchdowns in 77 NFL games. In San Francisco, Bryant reinforced his reputation as a big-play receiver until problems developed with Coach Mike Nolan, who was enraged when Bryant appeared late for a December meeting, prompting a heated discussion. With Joey Galloway (http://www.fftoday.com/stats/playerprofile.php?PlayerID=1144) turning 36 in November, the Bucs are looking for another speedy receiver who can stretch the field. Bryant’s average of 18.3 yards per catch in 2006 ranked second to Arizona’s Bryant Johnson (http://www.fftoday.com/stats/playerprofile.php?PlayerID=2258) among all players with at least 40 receptions. In each of his last two seasons, Bryant has registered 15 catches of at least 20 yards.
