Things have been quiet concerning him so far. I haven't heard much in the Washington Post or from any of our training camp "experts.":)

It's probably been said here a hundred times already, but if Carter can start out the way he finished last season, do you think his impact on the defense could be even greater than that of Sean Taylor's?

Actually I've heard a few things about him, all good.

GW said it took him some time to adjust to playing DE full-time again last year, but he expects very big things from him this year.

c'mon people! What about the important questions? Is Andre Carter shy? Is he married?

Seriously, it's like you people don't even think sometimes

Seriously though, I was a big advocate of bringing Andre Carter here before we got him so I hope we see more of the 2nd half AC from last year. Because he was downright awful in the first half of the season (but then again, so were a lot of people)

With Carter, I think it was just a matter of him getting comfortable with both a new atmosphere, as well as having to make the transition back to DE on a full time basis. Not drafting for the D-line may not prove to be so bad if he can pick up where he left off at the end of last season.

I'm actually feeling good about not drafting DL. While Okoye was pretty special (at least his age and talent), it's good to see we're going to give Golston and Montgomery a chance. One season isn't nearly enough to see what we have.

And instead we have a beast safety (at least by all accounts so far).

Question is, can Andre Carter be better than what we saw last year, or is it a what you see is what you get kind of thing?
