One day after high ankle sprain, Will Whitticker is released

Before announcing the results of the MRI on Will Whitticker's injured ankle, the OL was released. Obviously wasn't good. I was kind of hoping he was going to be a bright spot. From Redskins.com practice blog:

Seems like if he could only keep his weight at 325 instead of 355 he would be looking at a legit NFL career with job security and lots and lots of cash.

The only thing I can think is that 1) the MRI was ugly- maybe fractures or tearing, and/or 2) Stephon Heyer really is that good....

Must have been an ugly MRI. I was really hoping he was going to turn out to be quality depth, oh well.
