Just within the NFC East Division - which non-Redskin offseason change upsets you the most?

Two that worry me are:

1) Eddie George to Dallas - the Dallas running game has been laughable of late - with EG down there, they could really be a force to be reckoned with.

2) TO to Philly - Say what you will, TO is going to excel anywhere - and now Donovan has a serious receiving threat...

I don't like Coughlin going to NY. In a couple years (if his players don't mutiny), Coughlin will have the Giants in the postseason, Eli or no Eli.

T.O. to Philladelphia, no question about it. George to Dallas dosent scare me all that much, in the big picture of things. However, he will probobly pop off a couple big games, but wont effect their team that much. T.O. will be a impact on just about every game. Its the first time they have had a very serious reciving threat, while McNabb has been under center. So now we can finally figure out how good McNabb really is.

Eddie George to Dallas. It just reminds me of Parcells picking up OJ Anderson with the Giants. This move really scares me, it gives Dallas a nice Power/Speed twosome and while it's not as significant as us picking up Portis, it's close. But given that Dallas had the #1 defense last year and now should have a solid running game, well it's a concern.

TO to Philly hasn't really concerned me as much. The guy is a definite weapon, and will make a huge impact on Philly's passing game, but the rest of Philly's wideouts are average at best. Double TO and keep McNabb in the pocket and we should be ok.

I really think that people are sleeping on the Skins. Its not the personnel as much as the coaching staff, the defensive side alone should be much improved. With all the questions regarding the d-line, if Gibbs and Williams thought it was that much of an issue then they would have addressed it already. I'm guessing Blache and Williams will figure out a way to get pressure on the qb, its not like Chicago or Buffalo had any All Pro defensive ends yet they were still good defensive teams. Plus I think our back seven will actually be better this year, look for Springs to have a big year. I'm predicting two tds for him.

Eddie George doesn't scare me in the slightest. I'm pleased that the Cowboys picked him up actually.

This guy has no breakaway ability and the most I've seen him do in the past two years after having the ball handed off to him, is to lean into the pile and gain two-three yards. It's so lame.

The only thing that bothers me is TO. It's going to be a tough challenge for our corners this year to cover him. I would think Springs would be the one covering him since he's bigger and faster than Smoot.

Other than that, Eddie George doesn't worry me at all.

TO and Kearse are the obvious main concerns. Both guys are big-time playmakers and could get Philly over the hump.

George is a solid pickup for Dallas but I don't think he'll have a huge impact.

Coughlin is already facing resistance from his players but that will change pretty quick. Guys will either buy in or he'll get rid of them. They still have too many holes to compete this year though. I don't see Eli making the same kind of quick splash that Peyton did, gotta give him 2-3 years.

My biggest worry (don't laugh) is Kurt Warner to NY. I don't see an immediate threat as a team, but all the pressure is off. He wants to play, there is no QB controversy. The situation is clear as to his roll and Eli's roll. It puts him back in the position he was in his 1st season in St Louis.

T.O. - he's a great player, but I think you have to still look at McNabb... I never get any love on this, but he has to be one of the most over-rated players of all time in the NFL. I think people will see this season with no more excuses that he isn't a great QB, just a great athelete. The move for T.O. and Kearse would be bigger if they didn't loose their starting CBs. That's big in this division. Coles-Gardner, Keyshaun-Bryant-Glenn, Toomer-Hilliard-Shockey. I don't think they have the defensive backfield to keep up anymore.

Eddie George - it would be a bigger deal if they had a QB they can rely on. Carter had a good season, but I think the controversy and competition will be bad on him. They will focus more on Henson than him and he wont have a great season.

NY - nothing too big other than Warner, which will be a bother, but not anything to win the NFC East. They lost alot on defense too which will make it difficult to defend the run (Barrow, Griffin, Jones) and too much within the division.

There is a reason George got released buy Houston uh I mean Tennessee. He's lost a few steps over the last couple yrs. He will help the Cowgirls but I doubt that much!
On the other hand T.O to philly scares the hell out of me. If he can keep his attitude in check I think he is the best WR in the NFL! wich is really going to help there offense alot! T.O sould have gone to Bal. :madani:
