why people got to make joke about this. it isnt funny. if you had a spinal cord injury, which can be life threating, would you want people saying "well he wouldnt do any do anybody any good".
c'mon people i mean damn
Because it isn't life threatening.

ummmm i dont know what is life threating to you but if your hospitalized for a spinal cord injury. he will be lucky to play this year.
if he does play this year he will be good, just look at what happened to walt harris. sometimes a guy just needs a change of scenery.

Ummmm playing football this year and "life threatening" are complete opposites of the spectrum.
Instead of talking about spinal cord injuries in general, why don't you read what actually happened to Holdman. He had full use of his extremities within 40 minutes of the incident.
You are comparing Holdman to Walt Harris? Harris actually made some plays for us. Holdman was a joke for two years.
Why do people automatically assume that when a guy does something unusual, that it applies to everyone? You want to know why Harris had so many interceptions? It is because no one is afraid to throw to his guy. He still gets burned.

Man. Another sterile thread!
Post #2 - I hope he's OK, and I hope he recovers.
Post #3 - I hope he's OK, and I hope he recovers, and I'm praying for him.
At some point that gets to be stating the obvious. None of us are sociopaths - we all hope he's OK. No need to say so.
I don't see the harm in cracking a joke here. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I feel it's perfectly possible to find a situation serious and wish someone well, while at the same time cracking a joke about it. That's the very definition of "kidding." If you don't find the joke funny, fine, but don't get uptight about it. Just my two cents.

let me read you this quote:
"I haven’t seen any video yet (if it exists) of the Warrick Holdman injury but it didn’t sound good.. Andre Carter and Phillip Daniels both said they were sending prayers to the former Skins linebacker who was rushed by ambulance to a Denver hospital after suffering a neck injury during Broncos practice.."
that sound great to me so lets makew jokes
