I hate to hear about people getting injured like that.
It's a scary injury, for anyone that has ever gone through it, it scares you to death.
It happened to me in college for probably 3 seconds, though it seemed like an hour and a half. ANY time you lose feeling and that thought of paralysis creeps in, everything in your life gets puts into perspective.
My injury was NOTHING, and very quick...Holdman's sounded much more serious. So not only does he have to get over the neck injury (which sucks to have as a football player) he needs to get over the mental issues that might keep him from playing to his potential.
Toughest injury in sports...I wish him well.
