Could be much worse. He'll be back for week 1, nothing to be too concerned about.
Are you serious? Nothing to be too concerned about. Our Pro Bowl Caliber Tackle goes down with a badly spained knee......
The season starts in 5-6 weeks and they are saying 4 weeks until he comes back.
Who knows how the knee will feel after 4 weeks. We all know that the Redskins downplay injuries for some odd reason...
THIS SUCKS!

Ok, quick reality check:
He has a grade 2 sprain. This type of sprain is considered to be a mild to moderate sprain and normally heals in 2-4 weeks. Take into consideration the intense treatment and top notch medical care he will receive and he shouldn't have much trouble being back on the field very close to 100% for week 1.

best info I've seen on this so far Matty. The question I was to ask was it "up to 4 weeks" or at least 4 weeks, and that was answered here.
I still am preparing myself for bad news. Not to be pessimistic, just to be realistic about injuries. We had our share last year, and you have to expect a couple problems this year at least.
This is overall good news I'd say, and the timing for an injury is good. Samuels has shown in the past that he's rebounded from the same knee problems, so there is reason for optimism.
Unless Whitticker & the other guards really can't step in, I would rather see Wade as our backup T. The position is too important not to have your best lineman there. Of course, the coaches might move him there if this injury occurs during the season.

You are correct Matty. CS wont play any preseason games but he should be back by week 1 or 2.
