Who's gonna win ROY, and why? I'm gonna say Adrian Peterson. The Vikings are going to be a run first team. They have a stout defense, no great QB, and they have Steve Hutchison. I know that Chester Taylor is also going to get a lot of carries, but look how many TDs Jones-Drew scored last year splitting time with Fred Taylor.

AP will hold up but I say offensive rookie of the year: Marshawn Lynch, because he has no competition and will get the carries.
Defensive: Landry

Marshawn Lynch in Buffalo. That offensive line was rebuilt with some powerful run-blockers, Lee Evans developed into the kind of consistent deep threat you need to keep safeties from creeping towards the line against the run, and there are no other decent RBs in Buffalo. The guy is going to be asked to carry a big load. I think he'll go over 1200 yards.
Adrian Peterson will make his share of big plays, but Chester Taylor will get his share of carries, and Tavaris Jackson doesn't scare anyone in the secondary. Peterson's not going to go off this season.
I'll take Lynch.
