TheMalcolmConnection 07-25-2007, 12:11 PM Then we'll get to hear Brigg's rhetoric about how he knew it would happen and how the Bears treat him so well and how he hearts the team. A once important member of the team, a prized contributor, leaves for an extended period of time and then tries to come back like nothing ever happened. I'm glad no one ever does that around here. skinsfan69 07-25-2007, 12:17 PM Thank god. I'm tired of Lance Briggs. Jamaican'Skin 07-25-2007, 12:28 PM Finally, its about time Longtimefan 07-25-2007, 12:40 PM Soo much for "I'll never play another down for the Chicago Bears" Is it wise to listen to what some players say? Bill B 07-25-2007, 12:40 PM Guess his mortgage payments were falling behind or something! Anyway, I am glad as far as the Skins not paying him big bucks - I think we already have to deal with Chris Cooley and Sean Taylor (you know he wants a new contract soon) next year, plus if we have more cap space and want to spend on the defense, I think the logical place to spend the money is either a defensive end or tackle. I am glad the Bears did not pull the trigger on that deal as our linebackers are fine as they are. TheMalcolmConnection 07-25-2007, 12:44 PM Imagine that. Smoot? Brain isn't working well today. I gladly would take anyone back ever who doesn't badmouth the team. My most recent former Skin who I hope does well is Dock. He hasn't said a single thing and he left because he got a CRAZY contract, so I'm cool with him. It's the LaVars that make me angry. ArtMonkDrillz 07-25-2007, 12:52 PM Smoot? We all know that yo secretly post on ES under the username "WPBlows69." On a more serious note, aren't his teammates going to be just a little pissed at him? Same for his coaches and the FO. I wonder if Chicago might still try to trade him after he re-signs. freddyg12 07-25-2007, 01:01 PM I meant "around here" as in this site. I wonder if Chicago might still try to trade him after he re-signs. His teamates will support him, cause they are out to get as much $ as they can too. Coaches, if they're professional about it, won't pay any attention to it. The FO on the other hand, they have reason to be pissed, but the 2 sides seem to have buried the hatchet. Once the deal is signed, it's like nothing happened - until it's time to renew at least. |
