I guarantee that Portis and Betts are the top rushing duo in the league.
I guarantee that we WILL see Mark Brunell in some function in a game this year (whether that's mop-up duty remains to be seen).
I guarantee that Rocky McIntosh ascends to the best linebacker on our team.
I guarantee that Sean Taylor leads all safeties in interceptions.

I'm going out on a limb, but if they turn out to be true, I'm going to look so S-M-R-T...I am so smrt.

I guarantee:

-I will drop an F bomb at least 724 times this season.
-Someone will fumble at a crucial time leading to the other team's game winning points scored. (this will account for over half of my F bombs)
-Lloyd will double his productivity.
-JC will throw 20+ TD's
-Landry won't play until week 6

Very much. This is a crucial season for the Redskins and if Gibbs & Co. cant get the job done I suspect JG will step down. I do hope they get it done. I think it will be very interesting and exciting to see what happens.

Yet your guarantee is Portis getting injured and Brunell playing? Do you not have any confidence in JC?

Humor me, say something positive.

Clinton Portis will play less than 11 games due to injury.

Mark Brunell will be the starter by week 9.

Why is that, because if injury to JC or??

JC is a "rookie" QB who so far has looked gaood and bad. I think JC has a strong arm.

I just think that if the season begins like last year and the skins let a few early chances slip away, JC plays shakey (like most young QBs) and suddenly they are 2-5 and the season looks like its slipping away JG will go back to his boy Bruenell. I dont expect this to happen but that is my Brunell comeback scenario.

When did he look bad? Andrew Walter looks bad. I think at WORST he looked average at times, but never looked bad.

Peyton Manning looks average at times and JC is no Petton Manning (yet).

I say JC comes roaring out of the gate and looks nothing like a rookie.

Right. I'm not talking about whether he's a good or bad quarterback. He has a lot more to prove before labeling him. But performance-wise, I don't think anyone could point out where he's actually looked bad.

Peter King will "compliment" (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/peter_king/07/16/mmqb/2.html) the Redskins, but call them them worst team in the division.
