If Madden is good, it's the kind of game I'll play all year. Unfortunately it's been a few years since Madden has been any good.

EB Games is offering a $30 credit towards Madden if you trade in NCAA 2008 towards it, but what if Madden blows? Not sure if I want to take that chance.

yeah, I'll just keep them both... once I get tired of one Ill play the other and they'll be fresh for the entire year. This is the first year I've bought and played NCAA, and I love it, but I love madden too.

I think one of the things I like about NCAA is that I like alot of different College teams...

Louisville, Marshall, Arkansas, LSU, University of Texas, Boise (just as of last year... the were fun to watch play and I'll follow them this year, but not an all time fav.)

With madden all I play with is the Skins. It's not fun for me to be another team. Even teams I respect, like the Steelers or the Panthers, I can't play with them... its not the same...

With NCAA I have options...

Only thing with Madden is I start off with Skins then after that first season I will switch up to some really shit team and see if I can win the SB. The worst is when you are playing against the Skins on Madden you are so use to controling them it is hard tell you should be controling the other team.

Legends mode is awesome as hell and a much needed addition to the next gen features. I was a 5 star WR out of highschool, went to VA Tech and was 5th on the depth chart. Within a week I was 1st on the depth chart and despite having only starting in 3 games I have 23 receptions for 446 yards and 6 tds. The only negative thing I can say about Legends mode is the coach can call some really stupid plays in some situations and that has resulted in atleast one game were my team was decimated by LSU. I also love the highlight reel and have uploaded one of my vids but for some reason I haven't been able to find my friends profile on the site that did the same thing.

and while 2k is not amazing looking, the animations are a bit more fluid than NCAA and the tackling is flat out awesome. one time one my safeties undercut Earl Campbell and while he was spinning around in the air, one of my lbs came, grabbed him in mid air, and pretty much body slammed him to the ground.

But back to NCAA, another awesome thing about it is that this is the first time in a good 2-3 years I'm actually really excited about Madden especially since I have the NCAA rosters too for the draft classes.

That is the Defensive position that I controll on Madden as well. I feel that it gives you the most control of the entire defense. You can successfully blitz, support the run and play coverage best with that one position.
