Finally!
Reason # 57 why Andre Carter was a bad signing.
But this, this is good news.

But this, this is good news. jdlea 07-12-2007, 12:20 PM I really think it is more about looking at the talent we have and realizing that MW is probably a better pass rusher off the edge than everyone except Carter coupled with the fact that we have 3 more than capable LBs for coverage. It is just the best use of talent. I know, I was joking JDALY27 07-12-2007, 12:28 PM Finally! Reason # 57 why Andre Carter was a bad signing. But this, this is good news. Andre Carter was a good signing. He is a solid member of our defensive line. GTripp0012 07-12-2007, 12:30 PM Andre Carter was a good signing. He is a solid member of our defensive line.32nd best DL in the league. MTK 07-12-2007, 12:32 PM He played DE in college and isn't very much lighter than some DEs around the league. LaVar managed 11 sacks rushing from the DE spot, I think MW could be capable of similar results. JDALY27 07-12-2007, 12:35 PM 32nd best DL in the league. Right. Blame the entire horseshit defense on one player. You're the kind of fan that loves Snyder spending money on problems and not signing solid players that stay for years and grow with the team. For you to not think that Andre Carter was a good signing after the way he finished the season tells me you're clueless. GTripp0012 07-12-2007, 12:37 PM Right. See, just as much analysis and information in my post, but not nearly as wordy. SmootSmack 07-12-2007, 12:46 PM No your clueless. At least he knows his homonyms :) But seriously, I was a big advocate for bringing AC here about a year before we signed him so I'm not giving up on him now JDaly, while I agree with you on Carter's worth that personal attack was out of line jdlea 07-12-2007, 12:49 PM At least he knows his homonyms :) But seriously, I was a big advocate for bringing AC here about a year before we signed him so I'm not giving up on him now JDaly, while I agree with you on Carter's worth that personal attack was out of line Yeah, Carter came on at the end of the year and he started playing the way I thought he would all season. However, I was never that disappointed in him in the first place. He can't play the run...that makes him just like 90% of all the other pass rushing ends in the league. I like the guy, he's the best end they've had in years...apparently some people would rather the Skins just blitz whenever they need to get pressure and still never get sacks... 5RINGS 07-12-2007, 01:13 PM MW at end in nickel downs is a great idea. He is a fumble maker and will have the quicks - and space wide - to get around the OT. Great idea. Keeps your best players on the field. |
