I have comcast and they just took HBO away from me, saying thats its now only aviable to digital cabel subscribers.
My mom has the most basic programing from Dish and she gets NFL network (and wont even watch it!)
Im not to sure if i could go to satalite and loose Comcast Sportsnet though.
You can get Comcast Sportsnet with DTV as part of the sportspack

I got that notice in the mail from Comcast. What they are doing is making you buy a sports package. You can still get it, you just have to pay more. I got the notice and called Direct TV.
I would get it because i would get my money worth because i watch it quite a bit but i'm only home 4 months a year so it would be a waste with the others in my house.

It's funny that Comcast thinks they're going to make money on that. I would think a lot of people would cancel their service...

I hope to god JC looks that good coming out of the gate against Miami. Lyod better get his arse in gear and step it up. If we make the playoffs the MSM(mains stream media) is going to look like a bunch of fools( I will too since I think they do make some valid points). The preseason guys don't take much stock in JC and don't think CP is going to last the whole season. Not sure why(with regards to JC), the game we are talking about should have shown folks JC is better than Eli, or at least progressing better.

I'M not sure why with regards to CP as well. He had one bad season and all of a sudden he's injury prone?

Hopefully that game is a sign of things to come for JC. He really looked sharp in the 2nd half. I remember he said after the game something along the lines of he was in a zone and wished the season wasn't over because he was really feeling comfortable for the first time.
Hopefully it is not a sign of things to come from Carter who was getting manhandled as usual allowing gapping holes on our left side.

I'm excited about him with him playing we actually have a vertical passing game. Not throwing to the sidelines or behind the line of scrimmage every other pass.

I saw it... he did look great. I was at that game and was inebreated, and this was the first time i saw it on tv... he was pretty impressive. The game was closer than I remembered, but its always pretty demeaning to have your home team go out with a retiring running back running for 240+ at your house...

I actually was at that game, and took my little brother (his first game). It was probably the best loss I've ever been too.
The crowd was into the game, everyone was behind Campbell, and we played really well on offense.
Even when the Giants fans started rubbing it in, I just simply reminded them that
A) Giants aren't going to win the superbowl
B) Tiki is retiring, and he's all they've got
C) Jason Campbell's future looks a lot brighter then Eli's
D) Clinton Portis wasn't even playing. Only down side is that when Brunell got in the game right before the end of the half boo birds started flying. I was irked, but what are you going to do.
