GMScud 07-08-2007, 10:16 PM Hey, what's wrong with rednecks? :D
Aside from camouflage hats, trailer parks, and REALLY skinny guys marrying REALLY fat chicks (what's with that anyway??), absolutely nothing! ;)

Be careful, those are the guys flipping your burgers and picking up the road kill!

Yes, you're right. I do. I grew up here in DC, but I've lived in North-Central Florida for the last 8 years (Gainesville), so I have a TON of redneck friends. They are funny actually. Most of them are really handy people, actually very smart in a different kind of way. But when I see some pathetic looking dude who hasn't shaved in a week sucking down Marlboro's and driving a big ass pickup truck with confederate flag and a bumper sticker that says "The South will rise again," I have to roll my eyes.

LOL! Well, I have plenty like that here in Martinsville...after all, we are known for NASCAR. But, a good ol' country boy is the best friend you'll ever have! That old Hank Williams JR song doesn't lie..! ;)
SmootSmack 07-08-2007, 11:00 PM I admittedly look way out of place at NASCAR events. But I don't hate

Makes me think of my buddy Tom. The guy is pretty much the handiest dude I've ever met. He knows how to do anything. Need something fixed? Call Tom. Wanna go fishing? Call Tom. Wanna go huntin'? Call Tom. Wanna shoot guns for the hell of it? Call Tom. Wanna cook a phenomenal meal? Call Tom. But the man is SO COUNTRY it's funny. Drives an F-350 and lives in the STICKS. HAHAHA. Loves him some NASCAR too...
And just to keep it on the Bill Maas topic, Tom has never gotten a DUI or gotten busted for ecstacy.
Pocket$ $traight 07-08-2007, 11:22 PM I'm not saying you need to feel sorry for him, but you guys are being ruthless to a guy that hasn't done anything to you.
Why hate this guy?
He pisses (or I should say pissed) me off everytime that I had do listen to him rip the Redskins apart. So actually he did do something to me. I don't wish bad things to happen to him and I hope he is able to overcome his issues but I am glad he won't be announcing Skins games anymore.
Now, more importantly, does that 27 year old need a shoulder to cry on or better yet someone to do 28 ecstacy pills with?

We deserved it.
