My dad (or more accurately, my little sister) lucked out by walking into a GameStop about 2 minutes after they received their shipment. Prior to that me, my parents, my sisters, and our extended family had been searching all over the state of Maryland with no luck.

I have heard that the demand for the Wii stayed steady after last year. Nintendo has two factories working at 100% capacity and does not want to invest in building a third factory for fears that right after the holidays they would then have three factories running at 70%. SO from an economical stand point, it makes sense. From a customer stand point it sucks.
You should just get up at 6:30 and go wait in line outside of a Toys R Us like I did. Before you say that is stupid, remember I have had mine for over a year.

I work at Toys-r-us and when we get them in there is a line waiting outside the store before it opens because a lot of people call and ask when we get them in so they can wait outside, you don't have a chance in hell of getting one if you aren't waiting outside the store about 3 hours before they open. It's crazy how much demand there is for them, but hey they are hot sellers and right now Nintendo is keeping the demand high.

Yea Im a vendor at Walmart and they get there shipments usually tuesdays. They seem to get from about 8-20 depending on the store size, the bigger the store the more they seem to get. In less than an hour they are gone. If your still desperate for them try your local walmart on a tuesday around 10-11, once they are checked in.

Yea Im a vendor at Walmart
What do you vend, warpath. I've done Pep. Farm bread for a while. Walmarts are so annoying with their Harris Teeter type of check in system. One vendor allowed in at a time, while Im standing out in the rain getting product all wet.
