Ok....so I just checked my email and there is a letter from our boss in the office about how there is going to be roll call now at 5:30 on Fridays...because this one bitch in the office wrote her an email at what had to be 5:25 on Friday (I left at 5:20 and didnt get it yet), because she was one of only 3 people in the office.....Isnt it kind of an unwritten rule that you can leave 10 mintues early on a Friday and not have to worry about a freaking co-worker writing an email that gets the rest of the office in trouble....
I don't care if I've only been there for 6 weeks, I honestly might say somthing on Monday. If the boss found out on her own, and was pissed, than whatever....but seriously...SERIOUSLY..I left at 5:20 and there were still a good chunk of people there.
FFFFFFFFFFFF That

This does seem to be a bit much. I think the thing you could do that would really unsettle this person is to smother her in kindness. She is looking to create trouble, so she will be completely unhinged if you refuse to be drawn in to her game.

I agree with SBF, minus the kidding part ;)
Damn that really sucks. One of the things I like about my job is you can pretty much come and go (within reason of course) as you please. As long as you do your job management pretty much leaves you alone.

i see the other side. if there was still a fair amount of people still there, why do you think you are entitled to leave? where i work, i hit the clock, so there isn't anyone leaving early

Well thats the thing....you can basically do that at my job too. Some people are out of the office doing their thing (its a sales job) for like 7 hours out of a 8 hour day...which makes this even more rediculous.....
I just never really liked this lady to begin with, when I started she was one of only two people not to introduce herself to me and just seems liek a bitch...I was just like "are you kidding me" when I read that email.

I'm self employed and it's the same as un-employed except for I can pick my own hours. hahaha
