Good, but not as good as the Skins obviously.
C'mon, how much fun was it in 2005 when the Skins hammered the Cowboys 35-7 late in the year with playoff implications on the line?!
This is all that needs to be said. One of my favorite sports pictures ever.

I was at that game. Greatest sporting event I've ever been to. Can you imagine if the skins and Cowboys have the first and second best records in the NFC headed into week 17 this year? The skins 12-3 the Cowboys 13-2, skins beat the cowboys 4 weeks earlier and if they win at home they get the tie breaker and homefield throughout the playoffs and a bye while the cowboys get the 5th seed. Skins win in a close one.
3rd seed expects to beat 6th seed
Cowboys beat 4th seed because the cowboys, for all purposes are the second best team in teh NFC
That leads up to a Skins vs Cowboys game again in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Two games at home in a row, both against the cowboys. Skins go 3-0 Vs the cowboys and win the superbowl.
:D Happy thoughts. I might have taken it too far.
I was at that game too, got tickets as a wedding gift. My wife is a cowpokes fan & it was her first dallas game ever. She was crying by halftime.
This year we're going to the final skins-boys game in texas stadium & I would love a repeat of that day in 05.
Welcome bhack D!
I don't solicit Cowboy news as a rule, but it seems, the Boy's have been noticably quiet through the off-season??

I actually happen to think the Cowboys will be pretty good this year.
I just can't see the Cowboys being any better than 7-9 or 8-8. New schemes on both sides of the ball is usually a precursor to lots of growing pains. Oh and Wade Phillips... :laughing2

I think the Cowboys could go 10-6 this year.
I think Romo is a big question mark for them. After a fast start he really struggled down the stretch.

I'd agree with you if Parcells was still there and they were building on last year, but it almost seems like a rebuilding year for them with the complete coaching overhaul. I'll be very surprised if Phillips actually produces a winning season.

The new scheme they are presenting I'm taking with a grain of salt. We had top ten defenses two years in a row and then GW made some changes and we heard how much the players liked it.
We all know what happened in 2006. The good news for Cowboys fans is that I don't think there will be a dropoff in 2007, but just hearing that the players love it doesn't make me feel any more confident in it. More good news for them is that if it takes a year to learn it ex. Saunder's offense, then next year they'll be pretty damn good.
Bad news is, Redskins will have THREE years in Saunder's system.
