Vice President Cheney's office tried to abolish the National Archives' office after catching him circumventing the system for overseeing classified documents, House Oversight Committee Chairman Henry Waxman reported Thursday.

US law applies to anyone in the US. Even is they are Vice President. Didn't we almost get Nixon impeached? Well he was President. Cheney Is only Vice President.

I 100% agree...it's not just in the capitol either...Governers feel the same way as well. Bil Richardson is the NM Gov, and he is one of the worst people I have ever met...if you think Cheney is bad, you haven't seen anything til you have seen this guy.

The Vice President has a choice to make. If he believes his legal case, his office has no business being funded as part of the executive branch. However, if he demands executive branch funding he cannot ignore executive branch rules. At the very least, the Vice President should be consistent.
That ought to shut him up. For now, at least.
