I have two older brothers and I'm smarter than both of them. The oldest is the dumbest in my family.

Do you really need a scientific debate for something so FREAKIN out there. Doesn't mean shit or apply to my family or most folks I know at all?

They might have to start over, science nerds need work to....they will fiqure it out in a couple more centuries. Money well spent.....NOT!

Other than Borat, I haven't heard anyone drop a "not" in like 15 years.

The eldest children in families tend to develop higher I.Q.’s than their siblings, researchers are reporting today, in a large study that could settle more than a half-century of scientific debate about the relationship between I.Q. and birth order.

Not that I am opposing the thought here, but my IQ is 142, my brother's is 112. Big difference there. (oh he's the elder, I'm the middle child) My sister has a 124 IQ and she's the youngest.

That's the sound of your own bell ringing.

I've definitely heard about this in twins, the first born is normally dominant, but interesting in siblings. I'm too lazy to read this, but is a nature or a nurture type thing? My older brother died when he was 5 and I was just a baby, so would I be effected by that?

Maybe so, but I think it has more to do with what you make of your life. Maybe in that link it shows that you become more lazy if you have an older sibling.
I know in my case, I used my brother as spring board...he was the bar in which I had to surpass. I tried twice as hard to beat him at everything, including grades. In fact, my friends that have an older sibling felt the same way, so I am unsure of how accurate that test is.
