This is a sporting event, not some business function. I don't get why they would want to wear a suit but more power to them if they want to wear them.

Speaking of suits, I know one dude who wears a suit all the frigging time. Seems pretty silly to me but what do I know, I'm a jeans and shirt type of guy.

Does anyone have any idea when they forced coaches to stop wearing regualr clothes (suites included). When did nfl sell out to Reebok? I kinda like how Belichick rolls, not letting Reebok make him into a billboard - being I dont think there cutoff hoody sales have taken off

I love the look. Makes them look professional. Of course when you spit 80000 times a game it's hard to look anything near professional. Guess Gibbs won't be getting a suit.

I love the idea, think it's great. It reminds me of Dick Todd who was coach the year I became a Redskin fan. He was real "daper" the best dressed coach in the league. Would be nice to see coaches get back to that.

At least in football coaches don't look like (managers) do in baseball.

Well, Dan Reeves wore a suit to the Super Bowl when Gibbs and his sweater embarrassed him back in '88.

He and Landry were the last guys I remember Puttin' on the Ritz on the sidelines.

Cooley's already wearing a swim suit. Now he's just missing the tie...

Nolan can wear a suit and Billicheck cut off sweats, but I'll still bet my money on the Pats!

I'm in favor of coaches being able to wear suits if they want. And yeah I'm glad NFL coaches don't look like MLB managers... Be sad to see these guys wearing football pants and knee socks and just calling the plays. But I guess that's kinda what MLB managers wear....
