For those that wear contacts:

Advanced Medical Optics Inc. is recalling its Complete MoisturePlus contact lens solutions and is calling on consumers to stop using them after data showed a higher risk of eye infections.

The announcement late Friday followed AMO's recall of the same product last year because of bacterial contamination, and a recall by rival Bausch & Lomb Inc. after its contact lens solution was linked to infections.

Thanks, I use contact lenses, but I have been lucky enough not to use any of those recalled ones. I actually once tried the one that was recalled last year, and my eyes instantly became red. I have very sensitive lives.

Shit, I think I might be using this stuff right now. I switch brands a lot, but I'm pretty sure this is the one I'm using right now.

Yeah the key is to be careful. Also even if you have no rub solution, you should still rub to help clean. Plus not taking them off at night is really bad for your eyes, even with the ones you dont have to.

I personally try to wear my glasses at home, as much as possible.

I'm going to be SO pissed if my eyes all infected and fall out!

Honestly, it's almost cost effective to go ahead and get the surgery to fix your eyes for good.

hahaha I meant to say eyes, I was actually having a conversation with my grandmother about life, and I guess those two got mixed up.

But still we dont know the long term results from laser eyes surgery. They could be devestating 10-15 years down the road. The technology has only been out for barely a decade. That is the only reason why I havent done it. I will see how stuff turns out when I am 50, and if there still aren't anything long term problems, then I will do it.

My eye doctor got me to use Opti-Free RepleniSH products, and the stuff works great. I used to use anything cheap, but noticed my eyes were a lot better using the Opti-Free stuff. And since my wife and I both have flex spending, we use that to buy...
