I love the skins, but I do not like it when the press starts crediting our team. Our team buys into the hype. They are the underdog and need to stay the underdog. As far as I am concerned I want the prees to hate on us when we are winning too. This wagon is for true fans only.yea what he said we don't want any respect until were pummelling some unfortunate afc team in the big dance..

We'll lose every game Brunell plays. Count on it.

yeah, that's why we made it to the second round of the playoffs... poor Brunell.

I think that should be attributed to our defensive play that year. Not Brunell.

Please, please, please, please let's not get into another Brunell thread.

It's refreshing to have some backups who are actually capable of starting if the need should arise. Our past two seasons have ended prematurely because of a lack of depth and I'd love to think that won't happen again this year.

Yes, this is nothing but truth.

I think MANY of us would feel very comfortable with Lemar Marshall coming in at almost ANY position at LB and us not missing a beat.

Brunell, love him or hate him, is still better than most backup QBs in this league. And we all already know about the RB situation...

Brunell is more than able to do what most good back ups do: manage the game. His dink and dunks aren't going to win us a lot of games, especially over the course of a season, but they might be just enough to keep us in close a game if (God forbid) Campbell goes down.
Hell, the ravens won a damn Super Bowl with a QB that pretty much just managed the game.

That being said, if Brunell has to come in and start multiple games I might lose it and join the Peace Corps or something like that.

Brunell is a great back up. He knows the system, the players and he can protect the ball in an emergency.

And really that's all you should be asking the backup to do. Yeah, everyone wants a backup to be able to come in and light it up like Brady did in '01 or Garcia did last year but that's all that realistic.
