Let's be easy slugger. Shneed has given a great deal to this site. He lost his cool for a second, but I'm one to speak for him and say that he didn't go postal. He apologized, and in my opinon he's forgiven. This is the first I've seen him ever lost any kind of composure.

Your not the moral hierarchy of the situation. You've lost your cool before, and you're no one to judge.

Yeah, your're probable right about the Taylor contract. Kudos to you. I've been right before, and so have many others, we don't go out of our way to wave the "I'm right" flag around. But props to you. Congrats. Enjoy your glory.

I was not judging anybody. I just told him to calm down.

Actually, I like the fire. I get bent out of shape too. When you are coming off a 5-11 season people should be pissed off. I would rather see people get fired up than read, "Joe Gibbs is the best. He will save us. If Joe said it, it must be true. The team is perfect now". blah blah blah

I know that alot of people are going to be pissed that I suggested this, but I think he is overated and will not do a good job for us outside the box anyway. Maybe we could trade him for a good defensive end.

Unreal, truly. Can't even believe it... <shaking my head> Speechless

Much of the ill feeling and harshness could have been spared in this thread had we just resisted the urge to comment PERIOD. I don't feel the need to comment on every thread someone post just to have something to say. I realized this one was not going anywhere from the beginning. Much of the clutter would not be once the senseless posters realize they will be no response. I've been here a long time but feel the need to start very few threads because most of the topics worth discussung are covered in previous, or already existing threads.

Well said, well said.

haha but that is impossible, because you see when someone agrees with a post, they are adding to the thread and commenting on it.

It is kinda ironic Longtime, bc you are doing exactly what you are advising not to.

I think his point is well taken nonetheless. But, yes, there is some irony in there.

My point is honestly there isnt much you can do about it. If you have been a member to another forum out there, this kinda stuff normally happens, and it is hot for about a week then it dies off(unless someone brings it up again a year later). There is always a hero who comes by and tells everyone to change their ways and stop posting bullshit, but it never changes.

You cant do anything about it, and usually what happens here is TMC, AMD or I come by a dumb thread and start saying random stuff and it dies out on its own. You cant preach about not posting when you are posting to make that point. Plus how many people will actually listen? People rarely change and there will always be a constant supply of noobs on this site, so this kinda crap will never end either.

Just have to get use to it, and learn to laugh about it without trying to set guidelines which are pointless.

Oh, I totally get what you're saying. You have to take it with a grain salt, pretty much. Whether it's a 'good thread' or a 'bad one'...it should all be taken with a grain salt.
