My friend Jimmy might have a problem with this study.

Give me a break. If this were true, half the women in the country would have throat cancer....

Hess, you're turning a thread full of delightful puns into a statistical debate. For shame.

The study does not say "give head, get cancer." It says that oral sex with mutliple partners INCREASES THE RISK of getting throat cancer. That means you're MORE LIKELY to get cancer as a result of the HPV virus in your throat. But you could be one of the lucky ones who gives head to people who just don't happen to have HPV - then you won't get cancer. Or you could get HPV, and still not develop cancer.

The more partners you perform unprotected oral sex on, the more likely you are to get cancer. Of course it's true. But it doesn't mean you'll definitely get cancer.

Ugh. By your logic, smoking doesn't cause lung cancer.

Generally speaking, more partners = more risk.

Not exactly rocket science.

I disagree with this, I know that doing that (to my lady of course) can soothe a sore throat.

So I guess this means that chicks now have to ask themselves "Do I want to have to wear an eye patch or use a tracheotomy tube?"

Did I go to far? I've been watching Aristocrats jokes on youtube all morning, so my sensibilities are out of whack.

Thank you for changing the subject. Her argument left a bad taste in my mouth.
